| Kansai Background
Located on the western side of the main island, the Kansai region (also known as Kinki) is slightly different than that of the Eastern region of Japan. The people in Kansai speak with a distinct dialect of Japanese and are well-known for their humor and love for food. By booking one of JAL Hotels' Kansai hotel properties, you will get to experience a different variation of Japanese culture.
