Nikko Hotels International Launches Online Meetings/Events Liaison Service
TOKYO January 5, 2009, – JAL Hotels Co., Ltd., which operates the Nikko Hotels International group of luxury hotels, has provided a centralized online meeting planning service to accommodate the reservation and arrangement needs of meetings, events and incentives planners. The company added the new feature on its web site, www.jalhotels.com, to handle increasing international inquiries about meeting room reservations at its hotels.
The company views the meetings, events and incentives market as increasingly important, since more companies are choosing venues outside their home countries as a result of business globalization. With Nikko Hotels located in major cities worldwide, the company intends to grow its share of this market and views the new service as a helpful tool in accomplishing that goal.
With this service, potential clients can save the time involved in contacting numerous hotels to find an appropriate venue. Instead, they can submit their requests online and provide specific criteria for proposed events, such as date, time, location, meeting style, and type of hotel. Based on these criteria, JAL Hotels’ event planning department will search every hotel in both of its hotel groups (Nikko Hotels International and Hotel JAL City) for the ideal venue, and respond with an estimate from the hotel best suited to the criteria. The company expects the new online function to provide faster and more efficient service for meetings, events, and incentives planners.
